Couple of Champions

America’s favorite sports couple, Zach and Julie Ertz, is now a couple of champions.

Back in 2015, Julie, then Julie Johnston helped the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team end a 16-year drought and become champions of the world in the Women’s World Cup.

Since then, Zach has put a ring on it. He asked Julie to marry him in February of 2016 and the couple tied the knot last March.

Now Zach is a champion in his own right, after scoring the game-winning touchdown for the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII to end a 58-year NFL championship drought in the City of Brotherly Love and give the franchise its first Super Bowl era title.

Julie’s reaction after Zach’s touchdown said it all.

“She’s just so happy for me,” Zach said. “Our marriage is extremely strong even though we’re pulled in 1,000 different directions.”

Soon, Congratulations for Zach started pouring in from Julie’s World Cup Champion teammates.

After the game, the happy couple got their chance to celebrate on the field together.

Their happy time together as champions continued at the Eagles’ Championship Parade in Philadelphia on Thursday.

Through, love, support and companionship, Zach and Julie are always there for each other. And that is why they are #RelationshipGoals.
